Alhamdulillah, we have safely come back to this ‘garden of knowledge and virtue’ after enjoying our long holiday. However, the holiday does not mean that there is a break in seeking knowledge. It must be continuous, constant and nonstop. As our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. had said “seek knowledge from the cradle until the grave.”
After getting our examination results last week, most of us are very happy and satisfied with the result. Congratulations on your achievement, friends. Hopefully, your accomplishment is maintained and improved for the following semesters. Nevertheless, we should not be easily content with ourselves, but keep better preparing ourselves for any challenges that might come in the future.
For those who did not do too well in the examinations, there is still time to improve. With determination, we are still able to realize our goals, insyaAllah. Setbacks and failure is one of life’s most valuable teachers and can change us for the better. There are no secrets to success, friends. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. Do not repeat history and do not give up! People can change!
Finally, we should all alter and refresh our intention in seeking knowledge. It is an obligation towards us, our family and towards Allah. Do not be an examination-oriented person. Seeking knowledge is not only for the purpose of examinations, but to get blessings from Allah. As stated in the Qur’an, Chapter Al-Mujadalah, Verse 1: Allah will improve the status and standard of people who seek knowledge. Let us be one of them!
